I am absolutely loving this book. I'm about halfway through and I can't wait to see how things turn out. I have an inkling about what's going to happen... but I look forwad to being proved wrong. The pictures throughout are such a great slingshot into the rest of the story. It almost gives you hints about what you're going to read. Great so far! I'm beginning to love this author. :)

I'm going to be honest: I have only read the first 20 pages so far, but I am absolutely hooked into the story. It's ridiculous how good I know this is going to be. The first book, The Forest of Hands and Teeth, was amazing and I have really high hopes for this one. It makes me giddy thinking about sitting down with this book tonight :). I'm such a nerd.

From the short story "Dead Man Stalking" by Rachel Caine

I actually haven't read this far in the book yet, but knowing the Caine short story is based around her Morganville Vampires series makes this quote really interesting. I'm so excited to get to that one now! All short stories about vampires? Yes, please :).

I cheated a little bit this time because I chose that quote. I'm only just starting this book, but I loved that line when I read it. I'm a big fan of the rest of this series, so I'm hoping this one lives up to it. As of right now it's really heavy on the romance... so we'll see :).

I've got about 100 pages left in this book and I've really enjoyed it. The story is very interesting and full of adventure. It's taken me a little longer to read than I expected, but I'm looking forward to finding out what happens in the end.

I've been reading this book for a couple of days now and I have no idea where it's going to end up. I'm about 200 pages in and am still a little in the dark. It's kind of a creepy book so far - almost Stephen King-ish. But it's definitely interesting and my curiosity is piqued. I look forward to seeing where the story goes.

This book has really sucked me in. I started it just a little while ago and I'm already absolutely addicted. I've heard great reviews on this one, so I have high hopes for the rest of the book. I'll let ya know how it is (obvs).

Well, I'm just about halfway through this one and I'm loving it very much! It's such a great story of family and self-realization - and it even has a little ghost action thrown in! I'm enjoying it a lot so far and I look forward to finishing it.

I've read a few chapters into this book, and so far so good. It's written from different perspectives each chapter, so that seems to keep it fresh each time.

This book also counts for my Debut Authors Challenge, so I'm pretty amped about that :). I look forward to reading more in this one!

I know lots of people have already read this book, but I'm finally getting around to taking their suggestion. I'm 100 pages in and I'm loving it. There's something about this story that reminds me a little of Hunger Games - maybe the kind of society or something? I dunno. But whatever it is, I'm loving it.

Oh, and I thought that quote was kinda cool. It made me stop when I read it. Very profound and could have a lot read into it. I'm impressed so far.

I know this teaser seems a little weird, but Abbey (the main character) spends a lot of her time in the graveyard - it's a very peaceful and loving thing... not so much creepy. Promise. But I've really enjoyed this book, but I still have like 200 pages left (at least, that's how it seems). Hopefully it won't take me too much longer!

This book is starting to get really good. The lines I chose were from near the beginning - before you really get a handle on what's going on in the story. But it's pretty telling about the mother character in the story (also known as "The Commander").

I didn't want to turn into the page too far before I found something to quote - cause I haven't gotten there yet! But this book is looking like it's going to be light and fun - which is what I can use after my last two books. Looking forward to getting further into it!
